Festival, also known as New Year’s Eve, is an exciting night of celebration and entertainment. With more than 300 total events in the United States and Canada, there is a festival for everyone!
Festival are always on New Year’s Eve, which makes it a great opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy some great music. Some of the most popular festival are located at bars and clubs around the country at this time of year.
The event begins with the opening ceremonies, which usually include drinking alcohol or accepting gifts of alcohol.
Choose a venue
Choosing the right venue for your festival is very important. There are two main reasons to choose a venue for your festival.
The first is that the venue can help you determine what services you need to offer onsite. For example, a cafe that offers food and drinks can help craft attendees find a community to come with them as they enjoy their event.
The second is that the venue helps determine what event needs to be held at what time. For example, if an event was scheduled for Sunday morning, then a hotel or motel could help determine if there are people who need to be rested and prepared for an event on Sunday morning.
The second is that the venue helps determine if an event needs to be held at all. This applies when events are being cancelled or moved due to the weather or security concerns.
Get tickets
Once you have your tickets, the next step is to get into the festival. There are a few ways to get into the festival, but the best way is to buy a ticket-get in at a discount.
Many festivals offer free or discounted entry for early bird ticket holders, so be on top of that. You can also buy general admission tickets at a cost higher than full price, which is what you would get if you did not get the early bird ticket.
General admission tickets can range from $30 – $60 per day, making this cost-effective way to attend the festival. If you are looking for more of an immersive experience, then look into purchasing premium entrance passes– these cost $70 per person, making them cost effective again.
If you do not want to buy any of these passes, there are some spots where you can enter at a discounted rate.
Pack the essentials
While it is nice to have some luxury items, you should also have a good grasp of how to survive on the outskirts of town. This includes having a source for water and appropriate clothing for both temperatures and weather conditions.
Being unprepared can put you in danger. The organizers of these festivals are not always responsible for fully stocked supply boxes and dirty diapers!
Festival Zeit is a great time to learn this lesson the hard way. We were overprepared and had no idea what we were doing when it came to festivaling. All we ended up needing was a BDU pre-pump spray!
We recommend learning this lesson the hard way so that you do not make another mistake on your very first festival.
Prepare your outfit
Festive clothes are a fun way to show off your holiday season or autumnal style. If you are going for the full length of the season or event, then get ready to wear a lot of sack-like clothing!
If you are going for the fall/winter season, then get ready to wear warm pants and sweatshirts with cold weather gear! These clothes will last through several chilly days and nights.

While at festivals, there are usually lots of scams set up by people. These scam people ask for money as a gift and then do not send anything or very little because of how expensive gifts are.
However, at this age where boys are still into spending money, there is definitely some money-wise guys out there. So if you see him at a festival, make sure he takes good care of himself by going to a budgeting session!
During festivals, try being aware of your surroundings.

Many festivals have events for both men and women. Again, looking into special event for women is helpful for this article as well!
There are so many things to do at festivals and they’re always popular, so make sure you plan enough for how many people you want to attend with you.
Drink well
At a festival, you will usually be thirsty. There are lots of places to drink, but are they good?
Drinking at festivals is great! You can enjoy some good drinks and socialize with other people!
However, not all drinks are created equal. Some are high in sugar and/or caffeine, and/or flavorings than others aren’t.
Sugar can clog your body of water making you feel dehydrated or feeling super hungry. Caffeine is a strong painkiller which may upset your stomach or others who come with you. Flavorings may affect your taste buds making what you drink bad for you.
